The Book Vending Machine

As an extra incentive, students may earn free books from the Book Vending Machine by reading! In order to keep up with books read, complete an SCE Reading Log. Reading logs are available in the SCE Library. You can also print them out below. Books read can be from the SCE library, home libraries, public libraries, etc. Happy Reading!!!!!

Directions:

1. Read the whole book.

2. Write down the title, author, and date read on one line of the reading log.

3a. When ten short books are read and documented on the log, get your parent to sign and date the bottom.

3b. When 5 chapter books are read and documented on the log, get your parent to sign and date the bottom.

4. Return the reading log to the library to receive a FREE book to keep forever from the Book Vending Machine.

*A Star Reader certificate will be given at the end of each nine weeks.
