This will be my third year teaching at South Conway and in this time I have taught from Kindergarten up to 5th grade.  Before living South Carolina I lived in New York and worked with students in Pre-School, primary and elementary school.

I attended St. Thomas Aquinas College in New York where I obtained both my undergraduate and masters degree in Special Education with a minor in Elementary Education.

On a personal note I have two children both boys.  My oldest son is in 4th grade and my youngest is in Kindergarten.

I truly enjoy teaching special education because it gives me the oppurtunity to work with students in a small group setting where I can focus more on individual strengths and weaknesses.  I believe that all students learn differently and I try to focus my lessons and activities on those differences.  By addressing different learning styles I believe that students will achieve greater academic success.

Throughout the school year I will be adding information to each of the grade level pages that will focus on lesson and activities covered in the classroom. This information may include activities to reinforce topics covered in class, information regarding tests and instructions for completing homework assignments.

I'm looking forward to a WONDERFUL 2009 - 2010 school year!!!!
